Why SMCS? Open House this Sunday!
If you read the news, you know that teachers have been leaving schools in record numbers; however, across the nation Catholic Schools have remained strong and even thrived despite the drop in professionals choosing teaching as their life’s calling.
At Saint Mary’s we know that a strong faculty has always been central to delivering on our mission to grow students’ faith, wisdom and knowledge in a challenging academic environment, so in the days leading up to our JK-8th Grade Open House and the official start of Catholic Schools Week, we asked our teachers why they chose to make Saint Mary’s their work home–and for some of them, SMCS is also where they chose to educate their own children.
