Campus & Carpool Safety

Campus & Carpool Safety

A Major Priority

Since October 2023, all diocesan schools are required to have an Emergency Response Plan. These plans are reviewed annually by members of our Emergency Management Team and submitted to the Office of Catholic Schools. Our schools are also required to have regular drills for the safety of our students and staff. Required drills include: fire, tornado, and lockdown drills (lock + hide or lock + teach) as well as recommend earthquake drills.

Each year members of our Faculty and Staff undergo training in Basic First Aid and CPR in addition to receiving updates on specific wellness topics including but not limited to Diabetes management, concussion protocol, seizures and severe allergies. AEDs are also located in several areas throughout our campus.

Finally, we are grateful to members of local law enforcement for their training and collaboration as we work to maintain a learning environment focused on everyone's well-being. Generous donations from our School and Parish community have made recent facility upgrades possible and will continue to be a source for similar projects in the future.

Walkers & Bikers

Please be aware that some members of our community live close enough to bike or walk to school, so maintaining constant awareness of your surroundings is especially important when you turn into and out of our parking lot since there may be pedestrians or bikers on the sidewalks.
