History

Founded in 1966 with just four classrooms, Saint Mary’s Catholic School is currently the academic home to nearly 430 students across 21 homerooms, including two sections for each grade, JK through 8.

A new academic facility, including eight new classrooms, was added in 1998 along with a newly renovated fine arts center. This included an automated library, fully equipped computer lab, as well as new music and art facilities. With the completion of the current Parish Church in 2008, Saint Mary’s added six Early Childhood Development Classrooms for the JK, Kindergarten and First Grade classes.

More recently from 2018 through 2024, the Go Forth! and Built on Faith Capital Campaigns raised in excess of $3 million to renovate Saint Mary’s elementary school wing and main offices. The renovation phases also converted the existing library into a state-of-the-art digital media and design process STEM learning center.

In September 2020, a Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization system was professionally installed in all of our air handling units to significantly improve air quality in every part of our church and school as part of our COVID-19 mitigation strategy. In 2022, our Parish Hall which serves as a community hub for both the parish and school was renovated as was our kitchen and courtyard area. Finally, in 2023, we began implementing Campus Safety upgrades as part of an on-going audit to keep our community at the forefront of emergency preparedness.

In addition to top-notch facilities, Saint Mary’s is blessed with excellent leadership and tremendous parental support including a robust PTO. Volunteers are seen as a gift to the school, a gift that is invaluable to our student’s educational journey.

Saint Mary’s School is pleased to provide an educational environment where students can be challenged academically in a Christian setting. In this atmosphere children are taught to respect the dignity of each human being, to recognize their own God-given gifts and to develop to their highest potential.

Come explore our faith-filled community!
