Dear Saint Mary’s Families,
We have had such a fun day celebrating St. Patrick’s Day! Our faculty and staff are decked out in green from head to toe and our students are wearing all kinds of fun accessories. Muggivan Irish School of Dance, including our own Alice and Megan Joss, performed this morning. There was also a special performance by some of our faculty. Be sure you ask your children all about it!
I have been analyzing the current year cafeteria data. Our goal is to offer our students nutritious food at reasonable prices. Some cafeteria changes will begin immediately and others will begin once we return from Easter break.
The cost of maintaining the salad bar as it has been, is not cost effective. Starting this Monday, March 19th Morrisey’s Catering will be providing all salads.
When we return from Easter break, we will no longer be offering soup or potato options. Although it may be listed as an option in Boonli (we are currently working with Boonli to make changes), anyone that has ordered the soup or potato and salad option or the salad bar option will be receiving a full salad prepared by Morrisey’s Catering.
Starting next week salads will be labeled with your child’s name so that we are sure the right students are getting the right meals.
If you have already placed your child(ren)’s order for April and need to make a change based on this new information, please let me know. If you have not yet placed your child(ren)’s order for April, ordering is open through March 21st. Click here to order.
Speaking of food, I hope you are looking forward to the Fish Fry tonight! I hope to see you there!
Joyfully,
Jenni Ellis
Principal

NEW – Saint Mary’s Go Forth! Capital CampaignUpdate : School wide, we are at 75% participation, and four classrooms have earned a pizza party by reaching 100% participation (pizza parties will take place after spring break). Thank you to so many who have contributed! You can help your child’s classroom get to 100% by contributing to the campaign if you haven’t yet – any amount (even $1). Last week, a yellow card and Go Forth! envelope should have come home to you – if it is better for you to support the campaign in prayer, please return that card to school indicating your preference.
We are over $1,070,000 — about 54% of the way toward our $2 million goal. We are blessed by the generosity of many, and appreciate your continued prayers for this campaign, which will make such a huge positive impact on all of our children, and children who attend Saint Mary’s for years to come!
