Saint Mary’s Catholic School strives to provide instructional and informative materials available to students that reflects our Gospel values and conforms with Church teachings. Age appropriate books, media, internet access and other resources are provided. In accordance with Diocesan Policy 305, section 8,  (see Diocesan Policy) an objection can be made to the use of a specific source of content.  Any individual wishing to object are asked to submit a completed Diocesan Objection to Content Form  to the Principal.

After receipt of the form, the Principal will confer with the faculty and make an informed decision as to the disposition of the material.  This decision may be appealed to the Pastor of Saint Mary’s Church, who in consultation with the Principal and the Diocesan Office of Catholic Schools will uphold or reverse the decision.
