Prayer for Teachers and Families
Prayer for Teachers:
Hebrews 2:14-18
Simeon trusted that the Holy Spirit would be with him and he would know Jesus when he was brought to Him. “Now there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon. This man was righteous and devout, awaiting the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.”
Catholic school teachers touch the lives of the children they teach every day. May they continue to have the wisdom and grace to answer God’s call.
Prayer for Families:
1 Kings 3:4-13
Solomon understood the great gift God had given his father David and asked God for one gift, an understanding heart. “Give your servant, therefore, an understanding heart to judge your people and to distinguish right from wrong.”
A family’s greatest gift is to be open to hear the needs of each other so that the family can grow in strength and grace. May all family members, young and old, continue to have an understanding heart, which is open to God’s love and acceptance.
