Last evening, current parents were invited to a virtual 20/21 SMCS State of the School presentation. Thanks to a strong financial position made possible through generous donors, committed families and top notch faculty, Saint Mary’s Catholic School is able to claim not just excellence, but accessibility.

This week we have all regaled in daily celebrations of Catholic School Week. Indeed 75% of our student body and 85% of our teachers share the Catholic faith. But our doors are open wide to members of all faiths and we strive to maintain a diverse student body that is reflective of both our local community and our great nation comprised of a patchwork of people, languages and cultures.
If you weren’t able to join us for last night’s presentation, we encourage you to watch it and share it with anyone who may be in search of a new school community. In a time marked by fear, pandemic and social isolation, the symbolic gesture of opening a door can be very powerful. Holding the door open so that others may see and become attracted by the light from within is one way we can grow our community now and into the future.
