Constitution Day Collection for Texas Relief Effort: As coverage of Hurricane Harvey was consuming most TV newscasts, Jackie Moore, a member of our SMCS community, waited for news from her sister-in-law, who lives in Texas. The Miller’s home in Texas withstood the hurricane, but as we all know many others were affected. Our collection of $1,303.85 was raised from Constitution Day, a day dedicated to thanking God for liberties and participating in activities which demonstrate patriotism and celebrate our rights and privileges as Americans. The money raised from our celebration will go directly to the relief efforts in Texas.

Make it a write-off that supports a good cause! -Your friends or family can join you for dinner after you play – guests are $10. -If you don’t golf or absolutely can’t attend, consider sponsoring a hole, donating a door prize or paying for a member of Saint Mary’s faculty to play. -Every student whose family member or friend registers gets a chance for his/her class to win a cinnamon roll party from C&C’s Cinnamon Rolls. YUM.
We’ll be looking for volunteers to help with the event from among faculty/staff as well as middle school students. Contact Jennifer Janus at email@example.com if you’d like to sponsor the event or if you have any questions!
