There are many PTO and school related activities and events coming up that require volunteers.  Please check your calendar and see which of the following events works for you.

The lunch room requires AT LEAST two volunteers for each shift – 11-12/12-1.  Chef Gene has asked for assistance in the kitchen, plating food for the students to move smoothly and efficiently through the line.  The additional volunteers are supporting the teachers and students in the cafeteria.  PLEASE take a look at the Sign Up Genius and consider filling in the blanks, especially on those days when no one has signed up.  Click here to sign up for lunch duty, and thank you – Chef Gene, your students, and their teachers appreciate your support!

The SMCS Marketplace has been renamed this year!  The Christmas Bazaar will take place on November 6, from 4-9pm.  We have many vendors again this year – some of your favorites from the past, and some brand new to this event.  We are excited to have our vendors here for an extended time this year, too!  Wine tastings, raffles – mark your calendar to be there!  And click here to sign up to support this event by supplying an appetizer or dessert!  Thank you for your support!

Finally, the SMCS Christmas Shop will begin during the Advent Brunch (there will be another Sign Up Genius available for this event soon!)  The Christmas Shop is an opportunity for students to shop for inexpensive gifts for their family and friends, have them wrapped and ready to gift when they arrive at home.  Volunteers are needed to help set up the shop, and then help the children shop and pay for their items through the next few days.  Click here to volunteer with the Christmas Shop.

A huge THANK YOU goes out to the chairs of these committees!  Without them, our PTO would not be successfully raising money to support the arts and sciences programs this year!  There are some great things in the works – your PTO Board is working hard to have your suggestions come to fruition – please sign up and support our wonderful programs!
